About the AuthorAnne is from St. Louis, Missouri in the United States. She is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College in New York and completed postgraduate work in conservation of paintings in Florence, Italy. She currently works as a translator from her home in Tuscany where she keeps her kennel of Irish Terriers bearing the Tuscan Red affix. Anne grew up with Airedale Terriers and is passionate about dogs of all breeds (and mutts). She has also had Puli, Maltese, Cairn Terrier, and Border Terrier in her life. She earned her ENCI certification as an Instructor Trainer at Lakota Dog Training Center in Rome in 2014 and was registered as an ENCI judge in 2019. She worked as a journalist with Best in Show magazine from 2015 to 2020 and published a book on Handling in 2019. She is licensed for several Group 3 breeds, and Group 4 and serves on the ENCI standards working group.
